Since 2016, he has been specializing in the creation of pastel paintings and has participated in various exhibitions and solo exhibitions throughout China and around the world for many times. Now the pastel painting studio is open in Shanghai M50 Art District, and pastel painting teaching classes are held here.
Fubao’s artworks are collected by Zhuhai Guyuan Art Gallery, Singapore Goshen Art Gallery, Shanghai Tianzifang Art Center, Tianzifang T6 Art Museum, Shanghai Textile Group Art District, etc,.
The pastel painting "Uighur Old Man" was selected into the Pastel Painting Working Committee of Shanghai Artists Association to hold the 2017 Shanghai Pastel Painting Exhibition.
The pastel painting "Sea Rhyme" was selected for the 2020 Shanghai Pastel Painting Exhibition.
The pastel painting "Flower Series: Yijing" was selected into the 2020 Pastel Painting Art (China) Fourth Quarter Online Exhibition.
The pastel painting "Barcelona Street Artist" was selected into the Pastel Art Alliance (China)/Suzhou Artists Association to hold the 2020 4th China Suzhou International Pastel Biennale and won the first prize, 2020 Pastel Art (China) Online Exhibition and won the Excellence Award, and won the honorary prize of the 22nd International Pastel Association Magazine "Pastel 100" in 2020.
